There are absolutely two weekends that we love love love each year. We love general conference weekend!!!!
Here in our mission we have set a goal to have at least 300 precious souls who are not of our faith watch General Conference. It will be exciting to witness how General Conference will blesses the life of so many.
D&C 31: 3, 5, 7 states
3. “Lift up your heart and rejoice, for the hour of your mission is come; and your tongue shall be loosed, and you shall declare tidings of great joy to this generation.
5. Therefore, thrust in your sickle with all your soul, and your sins are forgiven you, and you shall be laden with sheaves upon your back, for the labor is worthy of his hire. Wherefore, your family shall live.
7. Yea, I will open the hearts of the people, and they will receive you. And I will establish a church by your hand;
We absolutely love those verses, it makes us realize what a sacred responsibility we each have to unite with Christ in establishing his church. HE WILL ESTABLISH HIS CHURCH. The HOW his church will be established will be by OUR hands. We have truly learned what it means to be a ward builder!!!! The dictionary defines establish as to make firm or stable; to introduce or cause to grow and multiply. We firsthand have seen the importance of every member in our ward‘s or branches. Where ever we are in the world every single ward can become stronger. We do this by baptizing converts, helping reactivate those who are no longer on the covenant path, strengthening new members, and strengthening active members. We must always be seeking to establish the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints where ever we are at. We truly hope that as we exit out of this Allegan Branch that we have made it a little stronger than when we arrived.
We are super excited we just got a New branch presidency in our branch. President Adams has served for seven years, and had done an amazing job! Our new branch president is not from our branch, but his two counselors are. He will train and do amazing work here in this branch.

It was hermana’s Baldwins birthday( on far right ) and she made her own piñata to celebrate. Once a transfer we are allowed to get together as a district on preparation day so of course we had Mexican food with all the trimmings Sister Mitchell took care of that! It was yummy.
About 10 days ago Kaye started coming down with Covid symptoms and sure enough she tested positive! And then about 2 1/2 days later I started getting the same symptoms! We are grateful that it wasn’t any worse than what it was! Kaye is over it now. yesterday I still tested positive. But can definitely tell the worst is over!
We continue to be so grateful for this opportunity and privilege of serving a mission here in Allegan. We continue to pray and seek for miracles in this area. We acknowledge the hurt and the ache that is going on throughout all parts of the world. We strongly testify that the Lord is with us through every struggle we face in life. We especially have seen his hand in our lives this last year. At times we may feel like we are swimmers and as those waves come crashing at us from all angles, we find ourselves getting a mouth full of water, fighting for air, and you catch your breath and another wave of water comes at you. We have come to know that God can take away every heartache but he doesn’t, God could prevent every sickness and disease and virus but he doesn’t, we have come to realize that the truth of the book of Mormon has power to heal, comfort, restore, succor, strength, console, and cheer our souls. “ Know the truth and the truth will set you free”.
