What a blessing it is to hear messages from our living prophet and apostles, and the general leader ship of the church. Of course IContinue reading “Life is good”

Whirlwind’s in Michigan

We have witnessed some major storms here in Michigan. When the storms decide to come they come quickly and ferociously wild! It’s crazy because the skies get super dark and then after the storm the sun comes back up and it is bright. It lays down lots of water, but you do not see mudContinue reading “Whirlwind’s in Michigan”

It seems like each week it just gets better and better! We have found that busy is such a blessing! And the Lord definitely loves effort. This weekend we had Bill Stocking‘s grandson get baptized. Colby was taught by Elder Stoker and Elder Matangi. He is 10 years old, and he was super excited! HeContinue reading “Rejoice”

Another week in paradise

We had zone conference this week. Elder Mantangi is serving right now with us in Allegan. He is a very soft gentle Elder. Well he performed a Haka in zone conference which was a shock to all of us. We were all touched so deeply by this tribute he paid to this Elder going home.Continue reading “Another week in paradise”

End conflict in our lives

I’m sure most of you think that is a pretty interesting title. And if you have been studying the conference talks. President Nelson gives a profound talk on the Power-of Spiritual Momentum. He gives us five suggestions on how to increase that in our lives. The last of the five is end conflict in yourContinue reading “End conflict in our lives”

Our heritage!

“Having a perfect brightness of hope!” Part of which is contained in 2 Nephi 32:20 I think our pioneer ancestors had that in mind. There hope was centered in Christ and a new beginning in the Salt Lake Valley. It kept them going through all the hardships that they endured. One that tears at myContinue reading “Our heritage!”
